In 2015 was selector for the program “New European Film“ at the International Cinematographers’ Film Festival “Manaki Brothers”.

He is active in the field of film production and distribution, and also in the field of literature – as editor/publisher since 2010.

Founder and director of the International literature festival PRO-ZA Balkan.

Alda Bardhyli

Alda Bardhyli is graduated in literature at Tirana University. Since 2000 she has been working as a culture journalist and later as an editor in widely read newspapers such as ‘Albania’, ‘Dita’ (Day) and currently ‘Shqip’ newspaper. She has given a great contribution in the publication field, first as director at "55" Publishing House and currently as editor-in-chief of ‘Saras’ Publishing House. She is the editor of a series of historical and literary books, the translator of Anna Goodbersen in Albanian language and currently she is leading a series of TV panels about discussing about literary issues. She has a great experience in television as a scriptwriter of "Top show" and ‘E diell’ programs, broadcast by Top Channel. Author of a series of lectures on the media, she is also the chief editor of “Saras” literary magazine which explores under a new perspective, the literary trend in the country and encourages the aesthetic debates in this field.

Ben Andoni, born in 1966 in Tirana, studied Geography-History and worked firstly at the  Hydrometeorological Institute. Since 1996 his main profession has been as a journalist. He wrote for the newspaper “Koha Jone”, was Cultural Editor of the newspapers “Gazeta Shqiptare” and “Korrieri”, Chief Editor of the weekly magazine “ABC” and Deputy Chief Editor of the magazine “MAPO” and “Java”. He is currently editor in chief for national Cultural Supplement “Milosao”. He was also correspondent of the Belgrade news agency BETA and currently for ORF (Austrian National Radio Television). Ben Andoni translates from Serbian, Croatian and English.

Mehdi Abdollahzadeh

Mehdi Abdollahzadeh is a Film critic, programmer and specialist of Iranian cinema. He was born in 1975. Mehdi obtained his Bachelor’s degree in English literature at the University of Shiraz and his Master’s Degree in Communication Science at the University of Lugano. He has written as a film critic since 1996, focusing mainly on Iranian Cinema. Mehdi has been a member of the editorial board for Mosharekat daily, Filmnegar monthly, cinema industry monthly and Film Criticism quarterly magazines, all of which are published in Iran. Along with being the contributor of Atlas to the Cahiers du Cinema in 2005 and 2006. Mehdi has worked as a consultant for the “Vision Du Rčel” international film festival from 2004 till 2010 in Nyon, Switzerland. In 2006 he was a member of the FIPRESCI jury in the San Sebastian Film Festival. in recent years he contributed to cultural magazine of Swiss German Television (SRF) and currently collaborates with Radio Freedom Europe/Radio Liberty, Based in Prague and funded by US congress.

Asimina Proedrou | Director, Producer, Screenwriter

Born in 1982 in Athens, Greece. Asimina studied music (piano degree in 2001), Economics & Finance (BA in 2005 and MSc in 2007) and Film Directing (BA in 2013). She is the producer, screenwriter and director of the short film Red Hulk (2013), which has been officially selected for more than sixty International Film Festivals, including Clermont Ferrand IFF 2014, and has already won nine international awards, including the Best Short Fiction Award in the Tirana IFF 2014. She is currently working on her ‘Master’s of Arts’ in Film Directing at Raindance (Staffordshire University), while writing the script for her debut feature script, Behind the Haystacks. The project has already participated in the Sarajevo Script Station 2015, the Berlinale Script Station 2016, and the First Film First young directors' academy, supported by the Goethe Institute.

 
Jotti Ejlli

Jotti Ejlli (Kastriot Ejlli) was born April 7, 1986, in Lezhe, Albania. Growing up, Jotti was always artistic: he loved art, cinema/movies, painting and music . As a teenager, he played music working as a DeeJay for many years. He even spent time doing video editing, short videos and music videos.

After graduating in high school, Jotti went to the University Of Florence (Italy) to study Cinema (Discipline delle Arti della Musica e dello Spettacolo), continuing his passion for Music and working as a DeeJay, also creating Videos.

After graduating in the University he moved to Milan continuing the studies at the SAE INSTITUTE for FilmMaking.

After the studies Jotti worked as a Independent FilmMaker in Milan where he worked for different projects, Documentary, Music Videos and Short Films. Jotti made his first short film “Rosso Fuoco”. A film that received great reactions from the audience.

In 2012, Jotti moved to Albania working in different projects as a FilmMaker and Director for TV Shows, and started creating the script for Hije (Shadows). After the script for Hije he received great reactions from friends and he began the production in November 2015.

Shadows is Jotti Ejlli's first feature movie.

 
Steve Piccolo

On the international scene since the mid-1970s, during his career Steve Piccolo has worked on music (co-founder of the Lounge Lizards), theater, performance art, sound installations, film soundtracks and fiction. He has shown works and/or done performances in many museums, galleries and international art events.

He has contributed curated sound projects at ArtVerona in 2008, and for the exhibition "Club 21" during Frieze 2010 in London. Collaborations on video art, performance and installations include works with Adrian Paci, Luca Pancrazzi (including the sound art of the group DE-ABC with Gak Sato), Gabriele Di Matteo (including the artists’ magazine E IL TOPO), A Constructed World and many others.

He presently works with the project agency Art Apart of Zurich, including productions of artists’ apps and books (including BLKNZM for the city of Venice during the 55th Biennale, BLKNZM St. Petersburg as part of the official parallel program of Manifesta 2014, Hermitage, St. Petersburg, and the Milangrad app for the Russian participation at Expo 2015 Milano). He has worked for many years with Isola Art Center in Milan, an experience documented in the book (2013) “Fight-Specific Isola”. He has published many records, and taught Sound Studies courses at Academia Carrara in Bergamo (2002-13) and NABA in Milan (2005-14).

His theoretical and fictional writings have appeared in many magazines and journals, including four years of a monthly column for the magazine InSound. He curated the Sound of Art project for the website Undo.Net. Recent projects include a week-long sound workshop at the Vienna Secession on the theme of Utopia, and a performance at MAXXI Rome, a large multimedia work for Expo Milano 2015, produced by Fondazione Feltrinelli, and two performances at the Venice Biennale 2015 (Belgian and Greek pavilions).

His debut, the documentary Abandoned Eden (2002), screened in competition at the KVIFF in 2003, won Best Film at the Kiev IFF. He launched the film company Bunker Film with his father Piro Milkani in 1994.

Gri Bölge” was selected to the “65th Berlinale Generation 14plus Short Film Competition”, participated in over 20 festivals and won 2 awards. Both films’ world sales-distribution is acquired by Kurz Film Agentur Hamburg.

She got selected to the “Toronto TALENT LAB 2015”, “BERLINALE TALENTS 2016” and “First Films

First Goethe Institut Young Directors Academy South East Europe 2016” with her 1st feature film project “The Bus To Amerika”.

As an actress she took part in more than 10 feature films and many TV productions. She works with the Persona Theater from Athens and took part in their international productions in Greece, Turkey and Iran.

Born 1979 in Pristina. From 2004-2010, he studied Audiovisual Media with a focus on Film and Television at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne. During his studies he worked on various film- and theatre projects and was among others assistance director at the Volksbühne in Berlin as well as at the Schauspiel Köln. His short film DER SCHÜBLING (2009) was awarded at several national and international festivals, also at TIFF as best international short film. His other short Of Dogs and Wallpaper  competed in the international short film competition at the Locarno IFF 2013) and was nominated for the german shortfilm award in 2014.  His debut feature film BABAI,  was awarded at several  international festivals such as  Karlovy Vary IFF 2015 for Best Director. FilmFest München -best Director -best script -best actor, Tirana International Film Festival 2015 – Best Feature Film, 15th Marakech International Film Festival (FIFM) – Special Jury Award, Premiers Plans- Angers Film Festival 2016 - Best Male Actor Award.

 
Kaj van Zoelen

Kaj van Zoelen is Dutch film critic who graduated from the University of Amsterdam with a degree in History and American Studies. He is co-editor and co-founder of SalonIndien.nl and Frame.Land and a freelance writer for several Dutch websites including Filmtotaal.nl and the aforementioned. He was a member of the critic's jury for the 2015 Red Tulip Film Festival, a festival in The Netherlands dedicated to Turkish art house cinema. He also sat on the KNF (Dutch association of film critics) jury for the 2015 Dutch Film Festival. He was a member of the FIPRESCI jury at 9th Documentarist - Istanbul Documentary Days 2016. Besides a film critic he's also a programmer for Filmhuis Breda, an up and coming art house theater.

Born in Shkodra in 1958, he studied at the “Jordan Misja” Art High School in Tirana and graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Tirana, where he worked at the Institute of Cultural Monuments for ten years, and then started his academic life at the Academy of Fine Arts. He currently teaches a study programme in the Multimedia Department in the same Academy. That’s how he describes his artwork: “Often the dilemma tantalising the artist in front of a plane keeps me stuck in the emotional memory that I have in use. Everything translates into sensation from the instinct of reading the plane any time I have it before me. This travelling memory mingles —with the testimonies of matter with conquered visual tension”.

Lydia Papadimitriou is Associate Professor (Reader) in Film Studies at Liverpool John Moores University, UK. She is the author of numerous academic articles published in journals and edited collections, as well as a monograph on The Greek Film Musical (2006). She is the editor of Greek Cinema: Texts, Histories, Identities (2011) and the principal editor of the Journal of Greek Media and Culture. Her research focuses on different aspects of Greek and Balkan cinema, as well as documentary, film festivals and distribution. Belina Jano was born in Durrës, Albania. She has finished the bachelor

studies for Business Management and Marketing by State University of New York and holds a master in Producing for Film and Television from New York Film Academy, Los Angeles, California, USA.

During the past 5 years, she lectured Movie Production at Marubi Film Academy in Tirana, and is still enrolled in lecturing Media Production at AAB University in Pristina, Kosovo.

Having the desire to experiment in the home country she jumped from working on Television, to partnering up with Red Production, with main offices in Belgrade, Serbia, where she has been holding the role of Producer for over 4 years, working so in different commercials for clients such as Vodafone, OTE TV, Raiffeisen Bank, etc.

Despite many positions through out these past 10 years, as a producer, co-producer, assistant producer, for film, animations, commercials, Belina has worked as post-production and VFX producer, in big budget projects such as “Iron Clad Battle for Blood 2” from director Jonathan English, “Dark Summer”, directed by Paul Solet.

In 2013, she attended Robert Bosch Stiftung, with a feature documentary project titled “The Girl Who Became a Boy”.

In 2015, Belina produced two documentaries, in co-production with LoupeProduktion, Germany, which aired on Arte in France and Germany.

In 2016, she was selected to attend CineLink workshops and co-production market, which where held in Sarajevo, Bosnja and Hercegovina, as the producer of the feature film “Looking for Venera”, where she won the MDM Eave Scholarship to attend on 2017.

 
Bruno Muzzolini

Bruno Muzzolini is a visual artist from Italy, who mostly works in video and photography.

He graduated from Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera in Milan, and he finished his Master studies at IUAV in Venice.

His works have been presented in various shows and public spaces dedicated to contemporary art, including 54th Venice Biennale, MART in Rovereto, Listasafni ASI in Reykjavik, SOMA in Mexico City, National Arts Gallery in Tirana, etc.

Bruno also works as a professor of Video Art at Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera in Milan, and he is the director of Master in Video Art and Filmmaking at ARDENT Institute, a joint educational program of Accademia di Brera and Politecnico di Milano.

He has actively collaborated with different institutions for the promotion of young contemporary artists, such as Careof, Docva and Via Farini in Milan, Lo Schermo del Arte Film Festival in Florence, and Kino der Kunst in Munich.
