
Lendita Zeqiraj (born in Pristina) is an award-winning Kosovar film director, screenwriter and visual artist. As a filmmaker and visual artist, Lendita has studied extensively in both arts in Kosovo and France. She graduates on Visual Arts (1990-94), postgraduates Visual Arts (1995–97) at the Academy of Arts in Pristina in Kosovo and followed DEA post-master Film Aesthetics studies (2001 – 2003) at University of Paris VIII in Paris.

After studing Economics at Marmara University in Istanbul, Nehir Tuna continued his film studies in New York. He received an MFA in Filmmaking from Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). He then studied screenwriting for two years at New York University(NYU). There he met internationally acclaimed script guru Marilyn Horowitz and became her assistant. He worked in various independent film production companies as a director and shot commercials. Currently he is working as a commercial director based in Istanbul and New York and developing his debut feature film.

Born in January, 20th, 1989. Born in Tirana, Albania. She is known as a journalist, but she studied Literature. The author of more than 1000 articles on social issues, human rights and cultural developments in Albania, Luela Myftari has a Masters degree in Comparison Literature from University of Tirana and has accomplished several trainings for Journalism in England, Macedonia, Turkey and Kosovo. As a child Luela loved being an actress so she attended acting courses when she was 6 years old till she became 16. At British Council Albania, she found her first job. Luela was only 17, when she became a translator. Then she began to write at “Kult” magazine, and after a year she went to “Shekulli” newspaper.

Born in Athens, studied Economics at the Athens University of Economics & Business while working as a still photographer, then studied directing at the American Film Institute in Los Angeles, where he lived and worked until 1981. In Athens, in 1987, he founded Filmiki Productions SA, where he produces commercials and directs features. ex Board Member of the Greek Film Center, ex member of the Jury of Thessaloniki Film Festival. Founding member of the Greek Directors/producers Guild, and currently Board member of the Thessaloniki International Film Festival and of Greenpeace Hellas.

Jacopo Chessa (Turin, 1973). Chessa studied cinema history with a focus on French cinema of the 1950s and 1960s. He has written articles and two books, taught at Université de Paris III – Sorbonne nouvelle, and collaborated with the Archivio Nazionale Cinematografico della Resistenza. In 2010, together with Andrea Spinelli, he founded the Prime Bande production company in Turin.

Electra Venaki is the founder of altcine, the web platform dedicated to Balkan Cinema and of altcineAction! The 1st Online Short Film Festival for Balkan countries. She is a researcher and lecturer in Academic Establishments in Athens and former film editor.

Born 2 August in Puke, Albania. After studying Journalism at the Tirana University she has worked in several medias, as a journalist writing articles about art and culture in Albania. She started to write for the daily newspaper “Sot”, then “55”. Later she worked for TVA television, and radio “Kontakt”. From 2008 she works in “Gazeta Shqiptare”, editor in articles about art and culture, and meantime has been working in several project of BIRN (Balkan Insight)
