Synopsis:

The story takes place during the time of the last war in Kosovo, within the basement of a house, which turns out to be the home of a Serbian policeman. He holds isolated an Albanian doctor called Agron. Agron`s only goal is escaping from the basement and joining his family. But he will be faced with staggering psychological challenges from the Serbian policeman who keeps Agron within the basement through violence, for a very special reason, the birth of the baby from his woman, who discovered the very end with the truth about the bitter fate of Agron.

The first cut is the deepest.

Filmography:
Having spent most of my early life in the Middle East I returned to the North East of England to study Literature & Film. I made a short documentary at a workshop led by Abbas Kiarostami in southern Italy, and then directed a dramatic short titled Breathe For Me. This film premiered at Edinburgh International Film Festival and went on to play many other European festivals. Lamb was my next project, premiering at Encounters and playing Oberhausen, Krakow, Brest and Hamburg amongst other international festivals, gaining the Special Mention of the Jury at Nice Film Festival 2009 and inclusion in Oberhausen?s Best of the Festival DVD selection. I work with Duane Hopkins and Samm Haillay at Third Films, in project development and production of feature film and moving image gallery installation work.
