Jacopo Chessa (Turin, 1973). Chessa studied cinema history with a focus on French cinema of the 1950s and 1960s. He has written articles and two books, taught at Université de Paris III – Sorbonne nouvelle, and collaborated with the Archivio Nazionale Cinematografico della Resistenza. In 2010, together with Andrea Spinelli, he founded the Prime Bande production company in Turin.

From 1998 - Owner of production company producing feature films and documentaries for cinema and television:  Michlol Productions Ltd.  The company also organizes various courses, gives consultation and organizational advice to bodies and institutions and produces enrichment programs for various target audiences.
