Director: Daniele Ciprì
An unsuspecting family man is sucked into the bizarre and byzantine web of the Sicilian underground in this wryly comic and ravishingly shot first solo feature from acclaimed Italian director and cinematographer Daniele Ciprì.
Daniele Ciprì was born in Palermo. He has worked as a director, cinematographer and screenwriter in both television and cinema. With his former collaborator Franco Maresco, he co-created the cult series Cinico TV and co-directed the theatrical features Toto Who Lived Twice (98), The Return of Cagliostro (03) and How We Got the Italian Cinema Into Trouble: The True Story of Franco and Ciccio (04). It Was the Son (12) is his first feature as solo director. |
