Nita Deda, born 1987, lives and works in Kosovo.

She is the Director of International and Short Film Festival DokuFest, the largest cultural event in Kosovo.

Previously she was the Head of Communication of the festival as well as programmed and managed the music program of the festival DokuNights.

She worked three years at the National Gallery of Kosovo where she coordinated the international projects and the annual program and exhibition for the Artist of Tomorrow Award.

Among other projects she worked as the manager of the Sumer Urban Festival (SURF) in Prishtina, as the video editor of Kosovo 2.0 website and as the Communication Coordinator of the first Pavilion of the Republic of Kosovo at the 55th Venice Biennale of Art.

She is also the producer of the film ‘Bashk”, directed by Bafta winner Daniel Mulloy and starring Arta Dobroshi and “Anestezion” directed by Noar Sahiti.
