Stratis Chatzielenoudas

Stratis Chatzielenoudas was born in Athens in 1982. Studied drawing, painting and Electrical Engineering in Technological Institute of Larissa.

He has been working in film industry since 2006 as Assistant Director and Casting Director. He has directed commercials, short films, documentaries and TV shows.

His films have been nominated in many international film festivals. Most known for his films “Die Young” and ”Athens.Fail.Better.” which won “Best Experimental Film Award” at EUROSHORTS 2015. 

He co-founded the Athens based all in house film production studio Margot Filmhouse and produced the short experimental film “Cut Ups” which was  presented at 61st Oberhausen International film festival.

In 2013 he started developing  the script “Haunted By City Lights” for his debut feature film. His project participated in many international script and project development workshops such as SOURCES2, BABYLON, Cross Channel Film Lab. He is a Sarajevo Talent Alumni and the project had its first industry presentation at Sarajevo Talents/Pack and Pitch.

He is the director of the mixed media punk rock feature documentary film (in pre-production)  “2917: Back to the top”.

He is the director and co-writes with a French scriptwriter a short film script (in script development) which will be filmed in Stereoscopic 3D.
