SYNOPSIS “Them” – The other like “us”, like “you”. Others see us as “them”. Like it or not, “we” are “them”, children of those who leſt their homeland for us, in the name of hope, “hoping for a better life” they said. We came here, we didn’t leave. We were either born or came to be placed here. We were named as strangers, whereas we saw ourselves as natives coming home late! Kamza is where we came. Slowly we discovered that the place of arrival was a symbol of evil. It was not the land, nor the air or the sky that had given this attribute. No, this attribute was given by the new habitant. There are people among “them” who think Kamza deserves this. Why, instead of being a place of freedom, Kamza was filled with walls! Walls on the sides, over and on earth and sky! But “they” overcome themselves and the culture of complaint. Because the complaint is the main wall. Therefore this barrier has to be overcome first. Someone says that all walls cannot be overcome at the same time. But “they” believe in overcoming them, because those “walls” that look strong, are nothing more than scarcely human acts. And as such, walls have an attribute. They are destroyed, torn, collapsed. “They” believe that the best way for their collapse is done internally, through speech and action! |
