Synopsis

The 20's somewhere in french country side. Summertime. Lisa, sixteen, avoid the bourgeois family boredom. At the bottom of a remote lake, she reveals herself.

 

Filmography

Born in 1971 in France, Nicolas Sarkissian has been studying literature and cinema in Paris. Flapper is his second film as a writer and director but he previously had a strong background as an executive editor for more than twenties short films awarded in many international film festivals. He also edited multifarious french genre feature films such as Them, EdenLog, Djinns, Prey... Fracture, his first short feature film was selected in the prestigious Semaine de la Critique in Cannes Film Festival 2010 and won numerous prizes all over the world. Admiring directors like Roman Polanski or Michelangelo Antonioni, Nicolas Sarkissian is currently working on his first feature film script.
