Director: Amos Katz Englisht title: Crossings Original title: Crossings 2013/ Singapore/ HD/ 18’/ Fiction/ Color
Synopsis A traveler gives a solo backpacker his train ticket, starting a journey no one planned. "Crossings" is a romance of errors about two travelers set against the historic backdrop of train travel in Singapore and Malaysia.
Filmography For many years, Amos thought the key to understanding the human heart was by studying its anatomy. After a long hiatus from filmmaking, Amos left his surgical residency behind, and happily continues his examination of the heart through film. In 2008, he left his collection of Super8 cameras and an old wooden tripod in New York City, and headed west to Singapore. This time, without stopping in Toledo. "Crossings" is his fourth short film – which has already garnered a grant from the Singapore Film Commission, as well as a post-production grant from the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (sponsors of the Golden Globes®)
