SYNOPSIS

Mauro is 33, he has two degrees at university and no future. He lives in a small town under the volcano Etna with his parents. He tries hard to enter as a teacher at the university but the job is given to a goon with strong connections. On top of that his girlfriend Laura leaves him for another guy. Unable to use his talents, Mauro gradually starts \"loosing it\", and starts behaving strangely and developing maniac depressive manias.

FILMOGRAPHY
Degree at London Film school. He does is directorial debout in 1984 with the feature \"Anche lei fumava il sigaro\". In 1994, arrives success with the feature film \"Il giudice ragazzino\", who wins the blue angel at Berlin Film Festival. In 2006 he shoots the film \"Per sempre\" with Giancarlo Giannini and Francesca Neri. He shoots for television \"L\'uomo della caritא\". In 2009 he directed \"Mar Piccolo\". This film was acclaimed at Roma Film Festival in 2009.
